MCP SETUP
Connect Search Console to your AI workspace
GSCmate connects to Google Search Console through a read-only MCP server. Your AI client signs in to GSCmate with OAuth and can query data available to the Google account you authorize. You do not create or paste API keys.
Connect your MCP client
- In your MCP client, add the remote server endpoint
https://gscmate.com/mcp. If the client has a connector directory, select its option to add a custom connector. - On first connection, your client opens a browser. Sign in to GSCmate with the Google account that can access your Search Console properties.
- Review GSCmate's OAuth consent screen and approve the listed read-only access.
- Return to your AI client and ask a question. It manages the OAuth connection and refreshes it automatically.
What the connector can read
- Connected Google accounts and queryable Search Console properties.
- Portfolio totals and property performance broken down by query, page, country, device, and search appearance.
- Custom Search Analytics queries, date comparisons, sitemaps, URL Inspection results, and data-access status.
All tools are read-only. Search Console responses are fetched from Google for each request and are not retained as an analytics archive. Google may omit or limit detailed rows and generally exposes about 16 months of Search Analytics history.
Example questions
- Which pages got the most clicks in the last 28 days?
- Compare clicks and impressions across my connected properties this month.
- Find queries with high impressions and an average position between 5 and 20.
- Compare mobile and desktop performance by country.
Disconnect
Remove GSCmate from the connected apps or connectors area in the AI client. To remove your GSCmate data and linked Google account, use “Delete my GSCmate data” in Connect AI. For help, contact info@gscmate.com.
